  • An Engineer with operational and security consulting experience in many foreign countries including; UK, Germany, Austria, Russia, Mongolia, Ukraine, Albania, Kosovo, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Namibia, Angola, South East Asia, Columbia, Brazil and Mexico. 
  • Recognized Counter Terrorism Authority specializing in tactics of post modern terrorism and WMD preparedness. 
  • He is a lecturer in modern law enforcement training techniques, Improvised Explosive Device awareness, and an accomplished trainer in combat tactics, small arms and edged weapons. 
  • Owner operator of GSGI, a former tactical instructor at the Advanced HRT Instructors program at Eastern Michigan University, a former tactical instructor at Gunsite Training Center and participant in Illinois University's Police Training Institute’s Master Instructor program.  
  • Possesses a working relationship with the criminal Justice and the military SOF communities in an effort to amalgamate their technologies in a modern training philosophy. 
  • Former Navy SEAL with over 100 combat operations as a SEAL operator and PRU Advisor with Phoenix Program’s Counter-Terrorist Units.

TSGI develops and delivers Tactical Decontamination System for government agency personnel currently working in the Middle Eastern regions. 

  • Bechtel Nevada Las Vegas, NV
    • Strategic Development/Operations Specialist. Served as a member of the Strategic Development team with primary focus on the National Security Response Mission’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Domestic Preparedness and Protective Countermeasures business sectors. 

  •  Military Service 
    • U. S. Navy (Naval Special Warfare Development Group)       Nuclear/Biological/Chemical Tactical Development and Evaluations.

    • U. S. Navy (Naval Special Warfare Development Group)       Tactical Assault Craft Element Chief.
      • Responsible for $10 million worth of tactical war fighting equipment.  Conducted clandestine insertions into foreign ports and operated undercover throughout Central and South America.  Managed 20 personnel in a global setting.

    • U. S. Navy (Naval Special Warfare Center) Coronado, CA      Land Warfare Instructor and Medical Representative responsible for training new SEAL recruits.

Law Enforcement and Martial Arts specialist. GSGI Law Enforcement, Fight and Film Technical Adviser

He is currently the senior Sergeant with the Huntington Beach Police Department. During the past 20 years he has been

  • Patrol Officer.
  • Agency Training Officer.
  • Beach Detail Officer.
  • Aero Unit Observer.
  • Special Enforcement Unit Team Leader.
  • Gang Detective.
  • Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor.  

In addition to duties as a Watch Commander and the Agencies' Senior Sergeant, he has been:

  • The Department Use of Force Coordinator. 
  • Has received over 20 official commendations during his police service.  
  • An Adjunct Instructor at the Goldenwest College Criminal Justice Training Center in Huntington Beach.
    • Teaching Firearms, Defensive Tactics and Gang Enforcement.
  • An adjunct instructor with the Heckler & Koch International Training Division.
    • Assisting in the instruction of MP-5, and basic SWAT courses.
  • Instructor Trainer with Armament Systems and Procedures INC (ASP).  

His martial arts background began in 1973. Since that time he has earned Black Belts in four different arts and has trained in numerous others. He has had the opportunity to train in Japan for two extended periods at the Yoshinkan Aikido Hombu Dojo. This is the same location that the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Riot Squads are required to train; he has studied under such notable instructors as Daniel Inosanto and members of the Gracie family.
